Morbid Angel

Morbid Angel is an American death metal band formed in 1983, associated with the early Tampa extreme metal scene. Their sound features fast, technical guitar work, complex song structures, blast-beat drumming, and guttural vocals, often paired with occult and anti-religious lyrical themes. The band is widely cited as a pioneering force in death metal and has influenced many later extreme metal acts.
