Momus

Momus is the stage name of Scottish musician and writer Nicholas Currie, known for literate, witty and often provocative songwriting that blends electronic pop, synth textures, cabaret and chamber pop influences. His work is marked by a conversational, sometimes talk-singing delivery and a conceptual lyrical focus on identity, sexuality, technology and cultural critique. He has maintained an eclectic solo career since the 1980s and has collaborated with artists across Europe and Japan.
