Medicine

Medicine is an American band formed in 1991 in Los Angeles by Brad Laner. Their music blends shoegaze and noise pop, characterized by dense layers of distorted and chiming guitars, prominent feedback and reverb, and vocals often mixed into the instrumental texture rather than pushed forward. They are noted for combining pop song structures with experimental studio treatments and a strong emphasis on atmosphere.
