Lloyd Cole and the Commotions

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions are a British band formed in 1982, led by singer-songwriter Lloyd Cole. Their music mixes jangly guitar pop with literate, often wry lyrics, drawing on 1960s pop sensibilities and contemporary indie sounds; arrangements commonly feature chiming guitars, melodic hooks and occasional keyboards or strings.
