LiLiPUT

LiLiPUT were a Swiss post-punk band active from 1979 to 1983, originally known as Kleenex before changing their name. Their sound combined punk energy with angular, often noisy arrangements, terse song structures, abrupt tempo changes and distinctive, at times playful or confrontational vocals, with occasional use of saxophone and other nontraditional punk textures. They are known for a compact, uncompromising approach that has been associated with the DIY and female-fronted underground rock scenes of the era.
