Light of the World

Light of the World is a British jazz-funk band formed in 1979, associated with the late 1970s and early 1980s Brit-funk movement. They combined tight, danceable funk grooves with jazz-influenced horn arrangements and soulful vocals, producing a polished club-oriented sound. Their work is commonly connected to the development of UK jazz-funk and later acid jazz developments.
