Lhasa

Lhasa, often credited as Lhasa de Sela, was a singer-songwriter associated with the Montreal music scene who sang in Spanish, English and French. Her music blended folk, world and Latin influences into sparse, emotive arrangements, characterized by a deep, smoky voice and intimate delivery. Her recorded work includes albums such as La Llorona, The Living Road and Lhasa. She died in 2010.
