Keith Jarrett

Keith Jarrett is an American pianist and composer noted for a highly improvisational approach that bridges jazz, classical and free improvisation. He is known for extended solo piano concerts, including the Köln Concert, for leading a long-running piano trio often referred to as the Standards Trio with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette, and for recordings that range from improvised solo works to interpretations of standards and classical repertoire.
