Julee Cruise

Julee Cruise was an American singer known for her hushed, ethereal vocals and dreamy, atmospheric pop that blended ambient and orchestral elements. She worked closely with filmmaker David Lynch and composer Angelo Badalamenti, contributing vocals to Lynch's film and television projects and recording music with a cinematic, otherworldly quality. Her sound is often linked with the dream pop and ambient pop scenes of the late 20th century; she died in 2022.
