Jeff Mills

Jeff Mills is an American electronic musician and DJ from Detroit associated with the second wave of Detroit techno. He helped shape a stripped-down, high-tempo, minimalist techno style marked by precise, percussive rhythms and futuristic, machine-like textures. He was involved with the Underground Resistance collective, launched the Axis label, and has led live projects that expand into film soundtrack work and collaborations with orchestras and classical musicians.
