Jay Reatard

Jay Reatard was an American musician who died in 2010, known for raw, high-energy garage punk and lo-fi indie rock that combined abrasive, fuzz-laden guitars with pop melodies and urgent vocals. He led projects such as The Reatards and Lost Sounds and issued solo material marked by short, fast songs and a prolific do-it-yourself approach to recording and touring. He was associated with the 2000s garage revival and independent rock scenes.
