Incubus

Incubus is an American rock band formed in 1991 whose music blends alternative rock with elements of funk, metal, electronic and experimental sounds. Their early material leaned more on funk-influenced grooves and heavier guitar textures, while later work emphasized melodic arrangements, varied instrumentation, and atmospheric production. Fronted by vocalist Brandon Boyd and centered on guitarist Mike Einziger's layered parts and textural approach, the band has explored influences from jazz and electronic music to hard rock, often combining rhythmic grooves with melodic vocals and dynamic live performances.
