Holger Czukay

Holger Czukay was a German musician and a founding member of the experimental rock group Can. He played bass and became known for treating the studio as an instrument, using tape editing, shortwave radio snippets, and early sampling techniques to build collage-like soundscapes. His solo work blended electronic, ambient, and global music elements, and he is regarded as an influential figure in experimental and electronic music production.
