Gotan Project is a band formed in France in 1999 that blends traditional Argentine tango elements with electronic production, combining bandoneon-led melodies, acoustic piano and string textures with samples, beats and studio effects to produce a modern, dance-oriented take on tango. Their sound mixes atmospheric, rhythmic arrangements with club-friendly rhythms, creating a bridge between classic tango instrumentation and contemporary electronic approaches.
