Goo Goo Dolls

Goo Goo Dolls is an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, led by guitarist and singer John Rzeznik alongside bassist Robby Takac. They started with punk and alternative rock roots and gradually shifted toward melodic, guitar-driven pop rock and adult alternative, combining acoustic textures with electric arrangements and direct, emotive vocal hooks. The band is recognized for a long career marked by a move from raw early material to more polished, radio-friendly songwriting.
