Girls

Girls was an American indie rock band active from 2007 to 2012. Their music blended indie pop and lo-fi rock with elements of surf, garage, and folk, often featuring reverb-heavy guitars, melodic hooks, and intimate, confessional lyrics. Their sound drew on 1960s pop and post-punk textures and frequently juxtaposed bright, retro-tinged arrangements with darker lyrical themes.
