Georges Moustaki

Georges Moustaki was a French singer-songwriter associated with the chanson tradition, known for gentle, lyrical vocals and spare, acoustic arrangements that drew on Mediterranean sounds and poetic, humanist themes of love, travel, and social reflection. He performed in French and other languages and cultivated a troubadour-like public persona over a career that spanned much of the mid and late 20th century; he died in 2013.
