G‐Unit

G-Unit was an American hip hop group formed in 2002, originally centered on 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo, with later additions such as Young Buck; they combined gritty, street-oriented gangsta rap lyrics and aggressive delivery with hook-driven, commercially minded production, and they also operated the G-Unit Records label, playing a visible role in mainstream hip hop during the 2000s before disbanding in 2022.
