Entombed

Entombed is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1989. They are known for a raw, heavy sound marked by low-tuned guitars, a heavily distorted buzzsaw guitar tone often linked to the Boss HM-2 pedal, and deep, aggressive vocals. Their early work helped shape the Swedish death metal scene, and later material incorporated more rock and groove elements that are sometimes described as death 'n' roll. The band is often cited as influential within extreme metal for their tone and fusion of styles.
