Eddy Mitchell

Eddy Mitchell is a French singer and actor known for his deep, slightly husky voice and for bringing American rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and country influences into French popular music. He began his career in the early 1960s with the group Les Chaussettes Noires and went on to a long solo career blending rock, pop, and chanson, while also appearing in films and presenting television programs related to classic American cinema.
