Drive‐By Truckers

Drive-By Truckers are an American rock band formed in 1996 in Athens, Georgia. Their music blends Southern rock, alternative country, and roots rock, with electric guitar-driven arrangements and narrative songwriting that often examines Southern life and social themes. The band is centered on the songwriting partnership of Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley and has had a rotating lineup that at times included musicians such as Jason Isbell.
