Cold War Kids

Cold War Kids is an American indie rock band formed in 2004 in Long Beach, California. Their music combines piano and organ with bluesy garage rock and soul influences, anchored by Nathan Willett's emotive baritone and talk-singing style. They often use rhythmic emphasis and dynamic arrangements that move from spare beginnings to denser textures, and across their career they have incorporated both raw, lo-fi touches and more polished production.
