CocoRosie

CocoRosie is an American experimental music duo formed in 2003 by sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady. Their work blends folk songwriting with electronic production, hip-hop rhythms, operatic and childlike vocal techniques, and found sounds to create theatrical, lo-fi soundscapes. They are noted for genre-blending arrangements, a DIY approach to production, and surreal, personal lyrics that often touch on identity, family and mythic imagery.
