Billy Fury

Billy Fury, born Ronald Wycherley, was an English singer who rose to prominence in the late 1950s and 1960s; he blended rock and roll, rockabilly and pop ballad styles and was known for a strong, emotive vocal delivery and dramatic phrasing that helped mark him as a notable figure in the UK pop scene of the pre-Beatles era. He died in 1983.
