Bhundu Boys

Bhundu Boys were a Zimbabwean band formed in 1983 and active through the 1990s, known for a fast, guitar-driven style often called jit or jiti that draws on Shona musical traditions. Their sound featured bright, interlocking guitar lines, upbeat rhythmic patterns and vocal harmonies, with lyrics frequently sung in Shona, and they were one of the groups that helped bring modern Zimbabwean dance music to wider international audiences.
