Bellowhead

Bellowhead were an English folk band formed in 2004 and disbanded in 2016, fronted by singer and fiddler Jon Boden. They were known for large-ensemble, high-energy arrangements of traditional and contemporary folk material that blended fiddle, melodeon and concertina with brass, percussion and strong vocal harmonies, giving their music a big-band feel and a theatrical, raucous live sound. Their approach emphasized inventive arrangements and communal ensemble playing within the English folk revival scene.
