Alegre All Stars

Alegre All Stars is a US Latin dance ensemble formed in 1961, assembled as a studio collective associated with New York's Alegre Records; the group brought together prominent local Latin musicians to record energetic, dance-oriented material drawing on mambo, pachanga and related Afro-Cuban derived styles, and functioned as a vehicle for the label's artists in the early 1960s.
