Rounds

Rounds, released in 2003 by Four Tet (Kieran Hebden), blends downtempo electronic palettes with folk-derived acoustic samples and detailed IDM-style editing. Tracks are built from chopped guitar, piano and field recordings layered with warm beats, subtle percussion and shimmering electronic textures, producing loop-based, immersive pieces that sit between leftfield electronica and folktronica.
